Henry Schein One

Shaping a careers site with heart

Challenge

Henry Schein One needed a UK-focused careers site to attract developers, marketers, and sales talent. There was no dedicated destination to showcase life at the company, its values, or its innovative culture. The existing digital presence didn’t support employer branding - it needed clearer user pathways, stronger design, and a confident, inclusive tone.

Approach

Research focused on understanding candidate motivations and common journeys through recruitment content. Site structure and navigation were realigned to highlight values, roles, and culture in a logical flow. Visual design aimed for clarity and warmth, while ensuring mobile and desktop experiences aligned with the company’s professional yet approachable brand.

Solution

A responsive careers site was designed with an intuitive layout and modular UI patterns tailored to career discovery. Visual storytelling was supported through curated photography of team culture, clean typography, and subtle motion cues to guide users. Core templates - like role listing, life-at-company, and application pages, were crafted for easy updates and consistent user experience. Design reinforced inclusion, diversity, and the company’s creative, dynamic ethos.

Impact

Launched in March 2022, the careers site delivered early results: seven job applications and average engagement across four core templates per user. It provided a clearer, more welcoming experience of Henry Schein One as an employer. The design reinforced the company’s values and created a platform ready to grow with future vacancies and content.
